TEA TREE ESSENTIAL OIL
Tea Tree essential oil has so many uses and is one that I always have on hand. It can have a cooling effect, is purifying, and can promote a healthy-looking complexion. This is a favorite for skincare. Some of my favorite uses for Tea Tree essential oil are for rashes, acne, ear issues, and after pedicures.
doTERRA offers Tea Tree oil in two fantastic forms. One is in the pure oil form. This stuff is strong. It is always wise to dilute pure oils with a carrier oil the first time you use them topically to minimize skin sensitivity.
The second form is Tea Tree Touch. This is Tea Tree oil in a roller bottle, pre-diluted with a carrier oil. This is a great way to take it with you anytime, anywhere!

Tea Tree Uses
Pedicures - I love to put a few drops of Tea Tree oil in my Pedi water to help protect my nails.
Nails - Tea Tree is a great one to apply to your fingernails and toenails after the shower to help purify and keep them looking healthy.
Skin - Tea Tree can be very cleansing to your skin. Add one or two drops to your facial cleanser to enjoy its cleansing properties.
After-Shave Soothing - Another great use for Tea Tree is to apply it to your skin after shaving.

Hair - If it's cleansing, then it must be great addition for your hair! Just add a few drops to your shampoo! Tea Tree shampoos are known to have many benefits, including combating dandruff, treating psoriasis, soothing an itchy scalp, and fighting against infections. Rather than buying an expensive bottle of Tea Tree shampoo, just make your own!
Beard Serum - Tea Tree is also great for beards. You can make your own beard serum using Tea Tree, Cedarwood, and Rosemary.

Skin Irritations and Blemishes - The Touch version is particularly great for this use! Just roll on the Tea Tree Touch on any skin irritations and blemishes for a natural way to combat them! Or try this DIY recipe.

Surface Cleanser - Because of its cleansing properties, Tea Tree is a great oil to add to your surface cleansers! It is cleansing and purifying. You can mix water with Tea Tree, or try this After Shower Spray.

Diffusing - Since Tea Tree is purifying that means it can also help cleanse your air. Just add a few drops to your diffuser or try one of these blends! You can also combine it with On Guard to support your immune system.

Cooling - I mentioned above that Tea Tree can have a cooling effect. Just roll it on the bottoms of your feet to enjoy this benefit!
Ear Issues - Tea Tree is one of my go-to oils whenever someone in my house is experiencing an ear issue. Put diluted Tea Tree around the ear to help soothe ear discomfort.
Immune Support - Tea Tree can also support your immune system. Add one to two drops to a veggie capsule. It is also a part of the popular FLOOM recipe. Any time you see Melaleuca, know that it is Tea Tree. Some people call this recipe FLOOT instead.
