Massage with Essential Oils
Muscle tension. Neck tension. Extreme muscle soreness. Tension headache. Are you cringing reading these words? I am as I write them.
How about. Tension relief. Relaxing. Soothing. Calming. That sounds better, right?
A massage can help you achieve all of this. A massage can be even better when essential oils are added to the mix. They add aromatherapy to an already relieving experience. The oils can help promote positive moods and emotions. There are also oils that can help energize and soothe.
doTERRA has a fantastic way to apply oils to the back, feet, and hands to achieve a powerful wellness experience. It is called the AromaTouch Technique. This is a great way to help others relax and connect with them. It is an AMAZING way to strengthen relationships with your loved ones. Want to learn more? Check out this.

Essential Oils for Massage
Now that you have a few simple recipes to make your own massage oil, let's talk about different essential oils you can use.
AromaTouch - This is my absolute favorite! It is a special blend created by doTERRA that is known as the Massage Blend. It contains Cypress, Peppermint, Marjoram, Basil, Grapefruit, and Lavender. You're going to see several of these oils in this list. The oils were chosen because they are known for their comforting and relaxing aromas.
Citrus Bliss - This is a citrus blend that combines Wild Orange, Lemon, Grapefruit, Mandarin, Bergamot, Tangerine, and Clementine. Citrus lovers would love to have this uplifting scent added to their massage.
These are just a few ideas. There are so many more, and you can combine several oils together. Here are a few combinations to try:
- Ravintsara, Copaiba, Wintergreen
- Basil and Wintergreen
