Hot Teas and Essential Oils

Did you know that January 12th was National Hot Tea Day, and that January is National Hot Tea Month? Hot teas have been known to have all types of benefits. They can help with sore throats, colds, and help with your immune system. While I am not a tea lover, I know that plenty of people are. That is why on my social media platforms I’ve shared hot tea recipes throughout the month of January. Here’s what I’ve shared plus a few more.

The Fennel and Ginger oil add a lovely spice to this tea and compliment Chamomile or Peppermint herbal teas deliciously. Remember to sip slowly and breathe deeply to fully appreciate this tea!

Turmeric is known for a variety of health benefits. It is thought to have anti-inflammatory benefits, increase the body’s antioxidant capacity, and so much more. Check out this article at Healthline to read more about it.

This recipe combines Turmeric oil with coconut milk, making it lactose intolerant friendly.

Chamomile and Lavender are both known for helping us relax. Add them together and you get the perfect bedtime tea.
