Cypress Uses and Benefits

Energizing, invigorating, uplifting, calming. These are all words that describe some of the benefits of Cypress essential oil. It also contains monoterpenes which can help improve the appearance of oily skin. Whether used aromatically or topically there are some great benefits with this oil. This is one you will often find in spas and used by massage therapists.
Let's talk a little bit about where it comes from. The Cypress tree can grow up to 80 feet tall. (WOW!!) It is orginally from the Mediterranean area and western Asia. Because it is an evergreen and grows tall and straight it is often used in cemetery landscaping.
