DOTERRA 2023 NEW PRODUCTS

September means doTERRA's annual conference and that means NEW PRODUCTS!! I love how committed doTERRA is to constantly researching and finding new products that benefit our health. They are not content with coasting on products they have released in the past. They look for ways to improve already existing products and for ways to safely harvest different oils.

This year did not disappoint. They brought us 9 new or reformulated products. Products to promote better sleep, support a healthy microbiome, help us relax, and so many other things.

So let's take a look at all of the new products!

Blue Lotus

It is a very calming oil. Try applying it to your wrists to alleviate stress. It has a pretty aroma and is known in some areas as a huge aphrodisiac oil. This oil can be used in a massage, to support your spiritual practice or meditation, and as a personal fragrance. It is also a great addition to your skincare routine to help maintain the skin's natural moisture barrier. Find it here:

Birch

Birch essential oil is extremely hard to distill. Because of this, it has only been available occasionally as a limited product. You may see other brands of Birch out there, but chances are they are not really Birch. One study tested 27 brands of Birch. NONE of them had any Birch oil in them. That's right. NONE OF THEM. What did they have in them? Synthetic methyl salicylate. This comes from expired aspirin. STOP TRUSTING COMPANIES THAT WILL DO THIS TO YOU!!

doTERRA found a family that has been distilling Birch oil in Pennsylvania for generations. They were willing to share their knowledge with doTERRA so we now have PURE BIRCH!

This oil is great for recovering after a workout. Try massaging it into the back and legs for a cooling sensation. You can also put it on a cotton ball in your gym bag to help mask the nasty odors. It is wonderful for muscles, tissue, discomfort, and emotional support. Its crisp, minty aroma is stimulating and uplifting when diffused. It can also help maintain a healthy-looking complexion. Birch can also be a good one to add to your natural insect repellents.

Shinrin-Yoku

Forest bathing. Have you heard of it? It is a Japanese mindful practice of absorbing the calming atmosphere of natural places like the forest. It is the practice of disconnecting from technology to relax and unwind. It sounds like something we all need more of!

This is the inspiration for the Shinrin-Yoku blend. The oil is rich in terpenes that are associated with forest bathing. It is very calming and grounding. It contains distilled Lemon, Patchouli, Magnolia Lear, Siberian Fir, Cypress, Cardamom, Hinoky, Lavandin, Grapefruit, Geranium, and Lemon Petitgrain. When diffused it will freshen up the room.

This is available as a pure oil and as a diluted roller bottle.

SuperMint Toothpaste

I know a lot of people were excited about this announcement! For years we have had On Guard Toothpaste. doTERRA has now added another toothpaste to their line of products. This one has a great mint flavor. I know several people did not love the cinnamon flavor of On Guard, so now there is another option! It has all the wonderful benefits of the On Guard Toothpaste. It is fluoride-free and contains hydroxyapatite. Hydroxyapatite is a naturally occurring calcium and phosphorus compound. Emerging research indicates hydroxyapatite may help remineralize and restore enamel. It also contains hydrated silica and calcium carbonate to gently polish teeth.

Serenity Softgels

doTERRA has had Serenity Softgels for quite some time now. However, they found a way to improve it so they reformulated it! They contain Lavender, L-Theanine, and Tart Cherry. Lavender is known for its ability to calm the nervous system and encourage relaxation. L-Theanine may lower stress by increasing the concentration of GABA in the brain. This supports relaxation and makes it easier to fall asleep. Tart Cherry is a new addition to the softgels. It is a natural source of melatonin meaning it may improve your quality of sleep. Serenity Stick + Valerian

Serenity contains Lavender which is known to soothe skin when applied topically and has a comforting aroma that contributes to a restful environment. It also contains Cedarwood, Valerian Root, Coriander, Ylang Ylang, Marjoram, Roman Chamomile, Sandalwood, and Vetiver. Many of these support a calming, peaceful, grounding environment. Valerian specifically has been studied as part of a restful sleep protocol. It is free of parabens, phthalates, and synthetic fragrances.

PB Restore

This is for your gut microbiome. It contains 30 pre-, pro-, and post-biotics and bacteriophages that help restore microbial diversity and balance for optimal microbiome health and overall wellness. It comes in a dual-chamber, time-released delivery system that supports the body throughout the day. It aids digestive comfort, micronutrient synthesis, gut barrier integrity, and healthy metabolism. It may also support skin health, the respiratory system, the immune system, and a healthy iflammatory response.

PB Assist+ ProBiome Gut Complex

This is a powder that contains a unique blend of diverse genus, species, and strains of pre- and probiotics. It is a delicious strawberry melon flavor. You can drink it in water, sprinkle it on your food, and ingest the powder directly. It is safe for the entire family to consume! For toddlers have them take half of the sachet. This contributes to the internal balance and support for the health of the kidneys, bladder, and urinary tract, as well as the female reproductive system.
